Hello All!
Ok so it has started...we have officially launched a Kickstarter Campaign to raise money so we can acquire a spot at the first ever Cincy ComiCon. I know. It has been a long time coming. I apologize for the wait however we were looking for the best opportunity to showcase our designs. We figured "Why not start a tradition by joining the first Cincy ComiCon?" So that is our intention. Now we are just depending on people to view the campaign and like the designs enough to donate. So how is it going? Well we just launched last night and are just over our first full day, and let me tell you... I...am...JACKED! We are $5 shy of 20% completed within the first 28 hours of the campaign. I couldn't have asked for a better start. The best part is we have only made a handful of Tweets and Facebook posts, and only 1 donation came from those efforts.
So What's Next?
The campaign is running for 30 days ending on 6/28/2013. We are in the process of making flyers and getting business cards together in order to build some local buzz. I, will be traveling to Chicago this weekend to learn the Screen Printing process for myself in hopes to keep the next batch of shirt printings "in house". While up in Chicago I will be passing out flyers and spreading the word about the Kickstarter Campaign. Once the Kickstarter funds Nick and I will begin to set stretch goals and offer new and more awesome rewards.
While the Kickstarter is funding however we are planning our booth layout and setting up a supplier for inventory to sell at the Con. In addition we are talking to some local and non local gaming podcasts and want to give some shirts away to their listeners. So far things are going about as good as they can be, and I'll take that all day long. It is getting late and I still have some designing to do. I'll be back in a couple days.
Until then:
Cheers and challenge the impossible,
William
